Hey everyone, long time no update.

Today I'm here to inform you that we're no longer accepting payments for premium accounts via postal mail. If enough interest is shown in this option again, we may bring it back in the somewhat near future, but as for now, it's gone.

You may have also noticed that the stream of new series being added has slowed down- this is going to change soon, with about 15 series in the queue.

On another note, AnimeNuke is almost four years old! This Friday marks the day on which AnimeNuke was opened to the public four years ago. More to come on that on actual day.

Due to maintenance being done at the place that hosts our downloads, our downloads are temporarily down. They should all be up within a few hours. (Current time is 7:05 AM, EST)

Edit: There was actually no scheduled maintenance - there was an unexpected problem and they still don't know when everything will be back up again.

As quite a few of you noticed, there were problems with the original version of Naruto Shippuuden episode 064-065. The episode was replaced last night (July 8, 2008) and should work now. If you downloaded the episode before the night of July 8 (EST), re-download it now and give it a try. Sorry about that, and enjoy the new episode!

On Tuesday evening and most of Wednesday (yesterday, technically), I wasn't home and didn't have access to a computer. Coincidentally, our spam filter decided to turn off during this time causing an overflow of spam in our email. If you sent an email to any "@animenuke.com" address during this time, you may want to re-send it in case I accidentally deleted it while clearing out the massive amount of spam.

On a side note, does anyone have any ideas for contests? Things are getting a little boring around here and I think it's time for a little "summer fun". Post suggestions as comments to this article!

Not much aside from the normal stuff was going on this month here at AnimeNuke, as you can see from the lack of news posts, but I'm just informing you on a few broken episodes.

Shugo Chara episode 29, Moetan episode 9, and Da Capo II Second Season episode 8 all didn't have subtitles as of around 2 AM EDT (GMT -4). If you downloaded these episodes before then, you'll want to re-download them to get the episodes with subtitles. Sorry about that! We're currently looking into the problem and will be checking the next few episodes added to make sure they have subtitles.

On another note, this Thursday will be my last day of high school. Go me.
